Our Story

LavenderCity Vintage grew out of the love I developed for all things old, imperfect and beautiful. One thing that I have always admired about the French aesthetic is that there is less reliance on perfection and more emphasis on craftsmanship, durability and character.

One of my favorite pieces in my closet is a beat up 1970s Hermès Kelly. By itself, it looks like it's on its last leg. However, it has lasted 50 years and is completely functional. Quality and luxury that looks effortless is our mantra.

A vintage piece can transform a simple outfit. It tells others that you care about your style without trying too hard. Vintage pieces are not about trends. Even vintage that is "trendy" now will be able to remain relevant 30 years from now. These are the pieces that we want to bring to our customers.
